Adding Subnets to IPXO from APNIC

Learn how to add APNIC allocated subnets to the IPXO Marketplace.

IPXO is a fully automated IP address lease and monetization platform. To get the most out of it, make sure to get acquainted with the minimum requirements for listing APNIC-issued subnets.

Check the subnet’s Whois information

Make sure the inetnum you are adding exists in APNIC’s Whois database. You can use APNIC’s Whois Search tool to look this information up. Please make sure that the inetnum you are adding exists in Whois.

Note: NIR resources, at the moment, are not acceptable. If you own APNIC resources through one of the NIRs, please contact us via help.ipxo.com.

Check if the subnet’s status is accepted

Not all subnet statuses are accepted in the IPXO Marketplace. Based on the Inetnum Status, perform the required action from the following table:

Inetnum Status Action
Allocated Portable (mask = 24)Unsupported
Allocated Portable (mask < 24)Create a more specific inetnum with Allocated Non-Portable status, authorize by adding IPXO generated mnt-by
Allocated Non-Portable Authorize by adding IPXO generated mnt-by

Assigned Non-Portable Unsupported
